This is a sample of tizmos.com-- a wonderful bookmarking site.  Tizmos is very 'kid friendly' with the pictures of the home page to make it easy for students to click on the picture and go directly to the website.  I also have a tizmos for my own personal favorite sites.

Flat Stanley Project

I will begin a special project this week with several second grade students. We will skype with a classroom in Joliet, Illinois. We will use the Flat Stanley app for each student to design and send to others. Using Edmodo, they will write an additional chapter for the book. This is a global reading project which has 72 classrooms listed for the Flat Stanley or Tuck Everlasting books. These classrooms are located in the United States, Canada, and 3 classrooms in Australia. Korea, Italy, and India each have one classroom enrolled in this project. We will keep you posted!

I love this quote.  We will utilize the technology provided to increase student achievement and engagement in the learning process.  They enjoy technology and will love the web 2.0 tools we will use in the computer lab this year.
