Thank you for wanting to help us create a fun Valentine's Day celebration for the patients in Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Your donation will make a big impact in helping make this holiday unique. All gifts must be new and safe with no small parts that might cause choking in small children. All donations must be politically and religiously neutral.
Items Needed for their Valentine's Day Celebration:
- Commercially manufactured boxes of valentines cards (different characters, e.g. Spongebob, Dora, Disney Princess, Batman, etc)
- Plastic bins with lids (shoe box size)
- Valentine stickers
- Valentine's day scrapbook paper
- Construction paper
- Crayola markers
- Crayola crayons
- Valentine's small carnival toys/prizes (pencils, sticker packs, cups, etc)
Items they do not accept:
- Handmade Valentine's Day cards (they are seeking donations of supplies and materials for children to make their own cards to give to family and friends)
- Stuffed animals or toys with cloth or hair
- Candy or food items
